I had the honor of being the Art Director for the Tony Awards during the 2019-2020 season. When creating the new identity for the brand, I wanted to reflect the shows during the season that told diverse, powerful stories that broke through the noise. With such a beloved, distinguished brand, the new look had to maintain its air of elegance and prestige while still being approachable, fresh and modern. The Tony Awards maintained this identity through the 2022 season, using this new branding in both print and social spaces.
