Following its successful Off-Broadway run, Kimberly Akimbo made its Broadway debut to enthusiastic reviews, yet faced difficulties in attracting attention. In a season dominated by well-known blockbuster shows, establishing a connection with consumers proved to be a difficult task. Focusing on the heart of the show, I wanted to take the audience out of the theatre and into Kimberly's scrapbook. Leaning into the whimsical 90s aesthetics of the show, I covered our digital media in little doodles and stickers, highlighting the sweet yet punchy tone of the show.
