Marketing materials created for the musical Assassins. As an fairly unknown musical, the key art needed to reflect the show’s complex tone: an intersection of darkness and playfulness. Inspired by the show’s carnival elements and political themes, the campaign holds an air of mystery and whimsy. Using gritty textures, punchy movement, and strong color story, the art nods at the narrative without giving too much of that mystery away.
